View the details below on how you can become a--Finance Director--for Region 10 PIHP The Finance Director works under the general direction of the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for the finance and accounting activities of Region 10 PIHP. Responsibilities Audit Annual financial audit preparation. Annual Federal Award Audit (Single Audit). Annual compliance exam preparation. Oversee Oversee all daily activity of the finance department, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. Oversee the management of revenue and expenditures to maximize financial resources and maintain the fiscal responsibility of the PIHP, including financial analyses, fiscal compliance, and reporting. Finance Responsible for the timely preparation (including coordination of member CMHSPs) and submission for all MDHHS-required finance reports. Responsible for presenting finance reports to the Board of Directors. Performance Under the general direction of the CFO, the Finance Director is required to perform some or all of the following duties, however these do not include all of the tasks which the employee may be expected to perform:. Teamwork Routinely participate in senior management meetings to ensure comprehensive planning and coordination across essential functions. Budget Annual budget preparation/review/amendment. Monthly bank reconciliation. Requirements Minimum Qualifications Licensed Accountant in the State of MichiganBachelor's degree in AccountingDemonstration of strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelValid State of Michigan Driver's LicenseMust have access to transportation Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in AccountingFive years of experience in accounting with Michigan public mental health systemFive years of experience in the Michigan CMHSP & PIHP system About Us Region 10 Prepaid Inpatient Health Plan Provides public services for mental health and substance use disorders through the Community Mental Health agencies in Genesee, Lapeer, Sanilac and St. Clair counties and a panel of other care providers.
