Who We AreAt Blue Water Controls we design and build custom automation equipment. -We are located outside of Port Huron, just a few miles from the beaches and blue waters of Lake Huron.We are a progressive and growing company. - -Our team is a friendly group of people who are dedicated to customer service, have a shared vision of excellence, and who collectively shape our company's future. - - -Who You AreYou are an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer who will take ideas from imagination to automation. -You will concept, design and engineer Robotic cells and Automation; including Robot assembly and material handling, clip drive, assembly machines and conveyor systems. -The right candidate will be a self-motivated problem solver that welcomes challenges. -As a successful candidate, you bring the following to our team

• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in design, specializing in robotics integration and automation systems
• You are experienced with SOLIDWORKS mechanical design software
• You may have helpful experience in the plastics or metals industries
• You are able to perform engineering calculations to support designs
• You are able to self-manage multiple assigned jobs simultaneously, including projecting time required to accomplish tasks, budgeting time spent on multiple projects, and progress reporting on action items and deliverables
• You are successful at managing relationships with customers, vendors, and team members, and you can lead project designs review with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• You are successful at working with vendors on project requirements and establishing equipment specificationsBenefits
