MI DISHER is partnering with an engineering-forward architecture
firm to add an Electrical Engineer to their team in Lansing, MI.
This company delivers facility and building projects across
industrial, education, commercial, mixed-use, and multi-family
markets, blending electrical engineering with integrated

respect among team members. What you'll get to do: Design
electrical power, lighting, and communication systems for a variety
of building and facility projects. Produce detailed plans,
specifications, schematics, one-line diagrams, and construction
documents. Help define electrical scope, estimate materials and
labor, and support project planning. Use engineering and design
software to perform calculations and develop coordinated electrical
layouts. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to
address design needs and resolve questions. Ensure designs meet
applicable codes, standards, and specific client requirements.
Support site visits and field coordination as appropriate, gaining
exposure to how designs perform in the real world. What will make
you successful: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or
closely related discipline) required. Approximately 1–3 years of
experience in building electrical design (power and lighting), or
strong internships/co-ops in similar work; training and mentorship
are available. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit for electrical design;
familiarity with lighting calculation software is a plus. Strong
problem-solving skills, close attention to detail, and the ability
to prioritize tasks across multiple projects. Excellent verbal and
written communication skills and the ability to function
effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
Interest in pursuing EIT/PE and continued professional growth; the
company supports licensure and continuing education. We may use
