Automotive IT Project Manager Job Responsibilities Your specific duties as a Automotive IT Project Manager will include:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Project Manager to join the Retail Sales & Marketing Support organization to assist in the planning, execution, oversight, and reporting of a portfolio of projects. This position will coordinate the activities of our business and IT team leads and requires strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate across the business, IT and Legal to guide teams towards successful project completions.
• Development and/or oversight of cross-functional project plans.
• Ownership of the change control process, including documentation of the process for submitting, reviewing and approving requests, customization for each project as necessary.
• Oversight of each project s backlog in the centralized repository for business requirements.
• Ensuring thorough documentation and prioritization of business requirements.
• Development and maintenance of multi-year project roadmaps.
• Identify and mitigate risks, develop strategies to minimize impact.
• Develop effective communications for stakeholders and leadership regarding project progress, issues and to manage expectations.
• Monitor project releases against commitments.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, project plans, reports, and meeting minutes.
• Continuous improvement in project management processes, best practices, and tools to improve effectiveness.
• Experience in vendor management, relationship management, and conflict resolution.   • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficient in project management, certifications like Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience with project management tools such Microsoft Project, Aha!, Jira, and Azure DevOps Server.
  • Proven expertise in strategic planning, collaboration with IT, and aligning technology investments with business goals.
  • Strong balance of business acumen and technical aptitude.
