Seeking a Psychiatrist to work in an established employed practice in Port Huron, Michigan. The practice provides a continuum of high quality comprehensive services to adult and geriatric patients.
Call coverage for this opportunity is 1:4 with 1 weekend per month and 1 day per week. Support a multidisciplinary approach to care including:
Outpatient Counseling Services Staffed by a Psychiatrist, therapist and office support staff with an average of 60 new patients per month and 15,700 visits per year. The practice provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management and individual-family therapy to adult-geriatric patients. Psychiatrist average daily volume of 10-15 patients per physician.
Emergency Psychiatric Screening - Provided 24-7 by trained mental health professionals through the Emergency Center.
Inpatient Mental Health Consultations The Mental Health Unit is a 23 bed secure unit that accepts adult-geriatric patients with an average of 920 admissions per year and a daily census of 18 patients (aprox. 5-physician)
