Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days and Nights rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience License: Permanent Ohio license or Compact state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Must-Have: Must have 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. Traveler must work at least every other holiday. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments will be completed during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required. Candidate must have one reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for. Description: Position available for a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse. This role will involve working 3x12 hour shifts. The schedule typically consists of 2 weeks of day shifts followed by 2 weeks of night shifts, depending on operational needs. Candidate must have recent experience in the specialty applying for prior to this position. All required certifications must be active, with nothing pending. Background checks will be reviewed by the facility. A strict do not call policy is in effect. Badging and fingerprinting will be completed prior to the start date. Modules will be completed pre-start and annually, varying by specialty. Annual modules may be billable, with any additional time required considered non-billable.
