Pay Information $2,193 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience; Must have 18 months permanent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience prior to travel. License: Must have permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; Must be willing to obtain NIHSS prior to start. Must-Have: - One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required. - Charge RN references are accepted. Description: All requirements listed in the job description are non-negotiable and no exceptions will be made. This is a night shift position with three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Minimum of 18 months recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience is required. Candidates must have 18 months permanent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience prior to travel. A permanent Ohio license in hand is mandatory at the time of submission. Compact licenses are accepted for any starts from January 1, 2023, and forward. Candidates are required to submit a recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for. Non-supervisory references will not be accepted and will lead to profile rejection. Active certifications are required with no pending issues. An ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment will be completed during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required. Travelers will receive a maximum of two attempts to pass, otherwise, their profile will be canceled. Background checks with any hits will be reviewed, but travelers with an open case will not be accepted. The facility does not accept any license hits. Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements, and this exemption will be honored until further notice. All other travelers must be nicotine-free, and a negative drug screen is required within 12 months of the start date. Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to work for one year from their previous end date. BCI/FBI prints are time-sensitive and must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract. Candidates will need to pick up their badge and complete onsite fingerprints prior to the start date. Modules are billable, with a maximum of 4 hours for pre-start modules. Any additional time required for pre-start modules will not be billable. Modules must be completed pre-start and annually, and they vary by specialty.
