Job Description Job Description Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1 years Radiology Tech experience required. Perform radiologic procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist to assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of medical conditions. This role requires utilizing specialized radiographic techniques, patient positioning, and safety protocols to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Responsibilities - Explain examination procedures and prepare patients for radiologic studies - Review clinical data and patient medical history to perform appropriate examinations - Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, ensuring supplies are well-stocked - Set up equipment and manually control imaging tools for accurate diagnostic images - Administer intravenous contrast media and monitor patients for adverse reactions when required - Implement radiation protection principles including shielding and dose reduction techniques - Maintain sterile equipment and adhere to infection control practices - Ensure patient safety, privacy, and comfort during procedures - Complete all required documentation, logs, and patient records accurately - Assist in resolving image exceptions and facilitate quality image delivery into PACS - Manage study indexing and documentation within the Radiology Information System (RIS) - Collaborate with Radiologists to confirm clinical protocols and study requirements - Mentor and educate new hires and students as needed - Uphold professional communication and teamwork standards consistently Qualifications & Desired Experience - Certified Radiologic Technologist with experience performing a variety of radiographic procedures - Proficient in operating imaging equipment and utilizing PACS and RIS systems - Strong understanding of radiation safety and infection control standards - Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting Job Type: Contract opportunity with flexible scheduling options available.
