Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Location: Cleveland, OH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,501 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/17/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PICU RN in Cleveland, Ohio, 44195! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Pediatric Intensive Care prior to travel assignments. 18 months of recent pediatric experience required. License: Must have a permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license in hand at the time of submission. Certifications: American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required. Must-Have: Experience in epilepsy monitoring and specialized care for patients up to 25 years of age is required. ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment must be completed during orientation, with an acceptable score on both assessments required for continuation. Description: Seeking an experienced registered nurse for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. This position requires a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel assignments. Eighteen months of recent pediatric experience is a prerequisite, and travel experience will suffice. Nurses must demonstrate experience in epilepsy monitoring and specialized pediatric care. An active Ohio nursing license or a compact state license is mandatory at the time of submission. Candidates must hold current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, and have experience with monitoring ECGs and managing inotropes. In addition, NIHHS certification is preferred. Travelers will be expected to work at least every other holiday. All required assessments during orientation must be passed within two attempts; otherwise, the candidate's assignment will be canceled. Background checks will be reviewed by the facility, and candidates with open cases will not be accepted. Candidates with hits on their licenses will not be accepted. Nurses must comply with nicotine-free facility requirements, excluding temporary exemptions for nurses and surgical techs. A negative 10-panel drug screen, including nicotine, must be completed within 12 months of the start date and updated annually.
