Transdev North America, a leader in multi-modal transport services, is seeking a dedicated CATA CDL Lift Shuttle Driver to join our team. This role is pivotal in providing safe and reliable transportation for community access and transit systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating vehicles equipped with lifts and ensuring both accessibility and comfort for passengers, including those with disabilities. Committed to safety and customer service, the driver will follow predefined routes and schedules, manage passenger boarding and alighting, and maintain accurate transport records. Operate shuttle buses equipped with lifts in a safe and professional manner. Assist passengers with disabilities in boarding and alighting using the vehicle’s lift mechanism. Maintain accurate logs of travel routes, times, and passenger counts. Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety. Adhere to all traffic and transit regulations and attend regular safety meetings. Proficiency in operating shuttle buses with lift mechanisms. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with passengers. Ability to perform minor vehicle maintenance and troubleshoot common issues.
