Overview Heinen’s is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Class A
CDL Driver to join our distribution team. This role is essential in
ensuring our products are delivered to stores on time, in excellent
condition, and in accordance with the highest standards of
professionalism and safety. We are looking for a dependable
professional who values teamwork, safety, and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities Consistently model Heinen’s core values of
respect and honesty in all interactions. Safely load, secure, and
transport goods to designated locations. Adhere to all Heinen’s
policies, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws,
including FMCSA regulations. Uphold Heinen’s Distribution Diamond
Standards of Commitment, Service, and Excellence . Execute all
duties in accordance with established PWM–Delivery Driver
procedures. Operate Class 8 manual tractors and various types of
Powered Industrial Trucks safely and efficiently. Conduct pre-trip
and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT requirements.
Load, unload, and handle products using manual and electric
material-handling equipment. Collaborate with team members to
ensure accurate, efficient, and on-time deliveries. Qualifications
Minimum 21 years of age. Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
(CDL). Ability to pass a DOT physical, road test (manual Class 8
tractor), pre-employment drug screen, and background check.
Maintain a driving record that meets Heinen’s insurability
requirements. Demonstrated ability to operate various types of
Powered Industrial Trucks. Strong verbal and written communication
skills in English Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong
relationship-building abilities. Ability to lift, push, and move
products weighing an average of 20-25 lbs., with occasional lifting
of up to 100 lbs. when required. Use of both manual and electric
material-handling equipment. Flexible schedule, including a split
workweek with one weekday off and Sunday as a scheduled workday.
Availability for overtime, including holiday and Sunday deliveries,
