Job Description Job Description Description: CDL Class A Driver (Food Distribution, Cold Chain Troy, MI Description Transport and Delivery: Safely and respectfully deliver goods to all stakeholders. Loading and Unloading: Assist in the efficient loading and unloading of cargo. Maintenance Management: Maintain vehicles proactively, including scheduling repairs and routine checks. Backup Duties: Act as a backup driver and provide warehouse support as needed. Teamwork and Cooperation: Foster a positive work environment and maintain cooperative team relationships. Clean driving record (MVR). Proven touch freight experience. Effective communication skills with the ability to maintain composure in various situations. Meets all DOT requirements, including a valid medical card. Authorized to work in the U.S., and pass background checks and drug screening. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in food and beverage distribution. Experience driving in diverse weather conditions. Familiarity with truck maintenance and operational checks. Working Conditions Capable of lifting and carrying up to 60 lbs. Frequent local routes with occasional multi-day trips; typically home daily. Schedule Variable shifts including 10, 12, and 8-hour shifts. Workdays typically Tuesday through Saturday Travel Required Up to 50% Compensation $27.00 to $29.00 Based on Experience Requirements: We are looking for dedicated CDL Class A drivers who prioritize safe and dependable delivery.
