Description:Trend Performance, a Race Winning Brands company, is seeking a Machine Operator/Centerless Grinder Operator. This position is a full-time position on first shift.Must have experience with centerless grinder operation. The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and running robotically tended CNC machining centers while manufacturing quality parts in a timely manner. This individual measure manufactured parts with designated measuring instruments to verify parts are within specification to print. Problem solving skills are required to identify root cause machine and part issues.Responsibilities: --- Sets up and operates one or more centerless grinding machines to grind external or tapered surfaces of metal workpieces to specifications.--- Grind jobs according to print holding tolerances as tight as .0002--- Must have the ability to lift 50lbs without assistance--- Applies knowledge to read blueprints and/or work orders to understand product specifications, dimensions, tolerances, number of parts, special instructions, etc.--- Able to run and hand load all robotically tended machines--- Setup, hand load, change tools and toolsets--- Follow all quality procedures--- Use designated measuring techniques for each part family--- Engineering print reading and inspection tool use to verify parts--- Keep machinery and tooling in good working order--- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area--- Basic computer skills including MS office products--- Communicate issues effectively to appropriate individuals What You'll Get:-- Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance as of Day One -- Employer Paid Life and Disability Insurance-- HSA with Employer Contributions-- 401(K) Retirement Plan with Company Match-- Employee Wellness and Assistance Programs-- Paid Maternity/Paternity Leave-- Paid Time Off-- 13 Paid Company HolidaysPM21Requirements: Education and Experience:2-5 years of experience in centerless grindingKnowledge of setup and operation of centerless grinding machine.Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorshipCandidate must be able to communicate in EnglishPositive attitude and able to work as a teamAble to multi-task in a fast-paced work environmentDetail oriented, responsible, with excellent organizational skillsAble to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlinesUnderstanding of manufacturing process and associated softwareAble to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent work ethicTeam player Physical Demands Standing for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and able to adjust focus.Work Environment While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Personal Protective Equipment is required including but not limited to gloves, safety glasses and hearing protection.
