This position supports and is central to the distribution, movement of product, materials, and inventory throughout the plant.What You Will Do

• Prepare materials for internal and external transfer and/or shipping
• Ensure product is always available to final inspectors including the moving of empty skids
• Review, read and understand work orders and requisition forms to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
• Perform Quality Control to ensure that products are going to the correct areas with correct product information on labels & shipping documents
• Responsible for the receipt, distribution, and storage of all product material
• Log the receipt of material, transport to appropriate storage areas or distribute them to the correct machining center or department.
• Examine incoming and outgoing shipment contents and compare with records, (such as manifests, invoices, or orders) to verify accuracy
• Check all dunnage for damage and follow procedure to remove from production floor.
• If problems arise concerning the destination of product or shipping methods require alteration, keep all involved parties informed of the changes.Why Us?

      • Successful experience on the production floor
      • Some computer skills (Excel and Word) and ERP (Epicor preferred)
      • Some experience with inventory management, scheduling, warehouse management preferred, but not required
      • Hi-Lo experience/forklift certification preferred Key Behaviors
