Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift - Port Huron, MI

Continental Schedule: 6 pm - 6 am -

Summary of Position:

• 
  
• Responsible for the care and upkeep of the facility. (Lights, grounds and general maintenance.)
  
• Work with the higher maintenance grades and help production as required. -
  
  
  Primary Duties of Position:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools.
    
  • Troubleshoot machinery and be able to repair or replace defective components.
    
  • Cleans, adjusts, aligns and lubricates equipment
    
  • Able to read electrical schematics, machine blue prints and equipment manuals.
    
  • Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters
    
  • General knowledge of 110, 220 and 480 circuits.
    
  • Able to operate general shop tools, hi-lows, boom truck, overhead crane and diagnostic equipment such as ammeters, multi-meters.
    
  • Able to implement proper lock out tag out procedures to ensure safety of plant personnel.
